This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit johnosumi.com (the "Site"), a personal and professional website operated by Osumi Consulting LLC ("we", "us", or "our").

In short: this is a static informational site. It has no accounts, sign-ups, forms, e-commerce, or advertising. We do not collect personal information from you, and the Site sets no cookies. The only analytics we use is Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-preserving service that is cookieless and does not track you across sites or build any profile of you. Beyond that, the only data involved is the standard technical information your browser sends to our hosting, analytics, and font providers in order to display the page.

Information you provide

The Site has no forms, accounts, logins, or other mechanisms that ask you for personal information. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or payment details through the Site. If you choose to reach out through a third-party platform linked here (such as LinkedIn or Keybase), any information you share there is handled under that platform's policies as well as this one.

Information collected automatically

As with virtually all websites, when you visit, certain technical information is processed automatically by our service providers to deliver and secure the page. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, the referring page, and the date and time of your request. We do not use this information to build profiles of visitors. To understand aggregate traffic, such as page views and approximate region, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal information.

Hosting and Third-Party Services

We keep third-party services to a minimum. The Site relies on:

• GitHub Pages hosts the Site and may process technical request data (such as IP addresses) in its server logs to deliver and protect it. See GitHub's privacy statement.
• Google Fonts provides the Site's typography. To deliver the fonts, your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address and browser information. Google Fonts does not set cookies. See Google's privacy policy.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics provides privacy-preserving, cookieless traffic measurement. When a page loads, a small script reports aggregate, anonymized metrics (such as page views, referrer, and approximate location derived from your IP address) to Cloudflare. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across sites. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

We do not use advertising networks or social-media tracking pixels. The only analytics is the privacy-preserving, cookieless Cloudflare Web Analytics described above.

EEA / UK visitors. The limited technical data processed to deliver the Site (described above) is handled by our service providers on the basis of their legitimate interest in operating and securing the Site. If you have questions about this processing, please contact us.
